How topic rounds work

Add a topic rounds question, then 2 to 8 topics, each with its own questions. The next topic is drawn by a wheel or chosen by a vote of the room. If the vote is a tie, the server draws one of the tied topics and you can pick again. Only the chosen topics are played, in the order picked.

Mix question types inside a round

A round does not need four options every time. A picture round uses find on the image, a music round plays an audio file link with no title on screen, and a numbers round scores the closest guess. Right order suits history and film rounds.

Plan the night with the real limits

The round picker counts as one question. The free plan allows five questions per presentation, enough to try a picker with a few questions. For a full night of rounds, choose Solo, Pro or an Event Pass at €9, or start from the Quiz night: 3 rounds template and change the topics.

Questions

How does the room pick the next round?

With a topic rounds question: a wheel draws the next topic, or every phone votes for one. Only the chosen topics are played, in the order picked.

What happens if the vote is a tie?

The server draws one of the tied topics. If the room wants another one, the presenter can pick again.

How many rounds fit in the free plan?

The free plan allows 5 questions per presentation and the picker counts as one, which leaves four questions to try it. A full night of rounds needs Solo, Pro or an Event Pass.

Can I show the scores after each round?

Yes. With topic rounds the leaderboard shows after each round by default, and a podium closes the night. You can also show it after each question, only at the end, or turn it off.
