The big screen and a participant's phone

Look back, then look ahead

A New Year's quiz has two halves. First the year that is ending: the funniest moment, the song everyone heard, the trip nobody forgot. Then the year that starts: resolutions, bets and wishes. Swap the examples for your own year and it feels personal.

  • Quiz questions with a timer and a leaderboard for the year in review
  • Guess a number for midnight bets and the year's totals
  • A word cloud and open text for wishes and resolutions

Fits the party, not the other way round

Five questions make a short round before dinner, another five fit between dessert and midnight. The free plan allows five questions per presentation, so keep one presentation for the quiz and one for the wishes. The answers appear on the screen when you decide.

Friends, family and people far away

Guests scan the code or type hopvote.com and the 5-character code. No app and no account, in the language of each phone. Cousins in another country join with the short link shared in the video call and play at the same time.
