Why a poll beats shouting out answers

In a group, a few people answer and the rest stay quiet. With a live poll every person picks a side at the same time, nobody copies their neighbour, and the result bar fills up in seconds.

  • Two options keep it fast, three or four make it funnier
  • Show the split first, then ask one side to defend it
  • Use an open text question to collect the best reasons
  • Keep the tone light: no question should embarrass anyone

Easy to adapt to your group

Swap a word or two to fit the room: school, office, family or friends. Hopvote shows each question on the phone in the voter's own language, so a mixed group can play together.

Turn a game into a conversation

After each vote, ask the minority side why they chose differently. It is the quickest way to get quiet people talking, and a good warm-up before a real discussion or workshop.

Three steps, no setup

    Write your questions

Poll, quiz, word cloud, rating or Q&A. Or let the AI draft them.

Results update live on the big screen, then export them.

Questions

How many would you rather questions do I need?

Five to eight is plenty for a ten minute game. Add more for a party or a long break.

Which question type should I use?

Single choice with two options is the classic. Use ranking for a longer list and a word cloud to ask what people would pick instead.

Can people see the results live?

Yes. The split updates on the big screen as votes arrive, and you choose when to reveal it.

Is it free?

Yes to start: 80 participants and 5 questions per presentation, all question types included. Solo is €5 a month, Pro €12, and Event Passes start at €9.
