Ask before people leave the room

A post-training survey emailed the next day comes back late and from few people. Five questions on the closing slide, answered from phones before anyone leaves, give you a score and comments from most of the group.

  • Put the QR code on the closing slide
  • Start with an overall score from 1 to 10
  • Rate content, pace and materials in one rating scale
  • End with one open question on what to improve

Measure more than satisfaction

Enjoying a course is not the same as learning from it. Rate the session, check one key point with a quiz, and ask what people will apply at work. That covers the first two levels of the Kirkpatrick model, reaction and learning.

Honest answers, kept for later

Participants answer without an account, and no name is shown unless you ask for first names, so they rate the trainer frankly. Results stay in your account, and Solo, Pro and the passes export them to CSV to compare one group with the next.

Questions

How many questions should a training evaluation form have?

Three to five for a live session: an overall score, a rating scale on content, pace and materials, one quiz question and one open question. A rating scale rates up to 10 criteria and counts as one question.

Are the answers anonymous?

Yes, by default. Participants join without an account, and names appear only if your presentation asks for first names. Leave that setting off when people rate the trainer.

Can I export the results?

Yes, with Solo, Pro and the passes: results export to CSV, with counts, percentages and the average of each rating. On the free plan, you read them in your account.

Is it free?

Yes to start. The free plan includes every question type, up to 80 participants and 5 questions per presentation. Solo is €5 a month, Pro €12, and Event Passes start at €9.
